These Terms of Service govern your use of GetMyBin's bin collection services and website at agentrocketman.com. By booking a service, you agree to these terms.
1. About GetMyBin
GetMyBin is a residential bin management service operating in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We roll your City of Toronto bins to the curb before your scheduled collection day and return them to your property afterward — so you never have to think about bin day again.
2. Service Area
GetMyBin serves residential addresses within the City of Toronto that have active City of Toronto curbside waste collection. Our service is not available at:
- Condominiums and apartment buildings with private waste collection contracts
- Commercial properties
- Addresses outside the City of Toronto municipal boundary
- Properties without accessible curbside collection
You can verify eligibility by entering your address at agentrocketman.com. We use the City of Toronto's open data to determine your collection schedule.
3. Services Offered
We offer two service types, which may be booked independently or together:
- Roll Out — We place your bins at the curb the evening before your scheduled collection day. For addresses in overnight collection zones, Roll Out takes place early evening on the collection day itself.
- Roll In — We return your bins from the curb to your property on the afternoon of your collection day. Roll In is not available for overnight collection areas.
- Both — Roll Out and Roll In on the same collection day, charged as two separate service events. Not available for overnight collection areas.
We handle all bins that the City of Toronto collects at your address, including garbage, recycling, green bin (organics), and yard waste.
4. Booking & Scheduling
Services are booked through our website. The following conditions apply:
- Ad Hoc bookings — You select specific upcoming collection dates. Payment is charged in full at the time of booking.
- Recurring bookings — Your bins are serviced on every applicable collection day, automatically. You are billed weekly via a Stripe subscription.
- Order cutoff — New orders for a given collection date must be placed by 4:00 PM Toronto time the day before collection (day collection areas) or by 4:00 PM Toronto time on the collection day (overnight collection areas). Orders placed after the cutoff will be scheduled for the next available collection date.
- Holiday schedule changes — We follow the City of Toronto's adjusted collection schedule for statutory holidays. No action is required from you.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Ad Hoc rate: $8.95 per service event
- Recurring rate: $5.95 per service event per week
- Roll Out and Roll In are each a separate service event. Booking "Both" on the same day counts as two events.
- Ontario HST (13%) is added at checkout and displayed before payment.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. GetMyBin does not store your payment card details. For recurring customers, Stripe automatically charges your payment method weekly.
6. Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your service at any time via agentrocketman.com/manage.
- For recurring subscriptions, cancellation stops all future billing immediately. Service continues through any collection within the 48-hour window.
- For ad hoc bookings, dates beyond the 48-hour window at the time of cancellation will be automatically refunded to your original payment method. Dates within the 48-hour window are non-refundable as the service will be completed.
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your financial institution.
7. Service Guarantee
This guarantee does not apply in cases where access to the property is restricted, bins are locked or inaccessible, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent service delivery (including severe weather, road closures, or City of Toronto collection cancellations).
8. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure we can deliver your service, you agree to:
- Ensure your bins are accessible and not locked behind a gate or fence that prevents our team from reaching them.
- Ensure your bins are in good working condition and are the standard City of Toronto-issued bins.
- Notify us of any changes to your property access that may affect service delivery.
- Provide an accurate service address at the time of booking.
9. Limitation of Liability
GetMyBin is not liable for:
- Damage to bins caused by the City of Toronto's collection vehicles or crews.
- Missed collections by the City of Toronto (we follow their schedule, but do not control it).
- Loss or theft of bin contents.
- Delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, road conditions, or City of Toronto schedule changes.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of GetMyBin services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service event giving rise to the claim.
10. Privacy
We collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and service address for the purpose of delivering your booking and communicating with you about your service. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as required to process payment (Stripe) or deliver the service.
By booking with GetMyBin, you consent to receiving booking confirmation and service-related communications via email.
11. Changes to These Terms
GetMyBin reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
